Lincoln County marriage index from 1867 thru 1897. The index
for the 1898 thru 1900 is in process of being completed. Later marriages records
are available from the Lincoln County Clerk of Court.

Later directories from about 1918 are available at the North Platte Library.
For a listed person, information includes the mailing addresses, land descriptions
owned by the person, and the type of business the person was engaged in.
Church records include some death, marriage and baptism records
for the Lutheran, Episcopal and Presbyterian churches. Presbyterian Church
records available are up to about 1950.

Other cemeteries: A two volume set of cemetery records is available at the
North Platte Public Library. One volume contains information on the city cemetery,
done in about 1975, and is not complete. The other volume contains information
on other cemeteries in the county, and was also done in about 1975.

The Genealogy Society has access to newspapers, starting
in 1932. Charges for obituary lookups are as follows:
For a lookup of an obituary where you have the date of death, or very nearly
the correct date: $2.00 minimum, plus 25 cents for a copy of the obituary.
For a lookup of an obituary where you have the month and year: $3.00 minimum,
plus 25 cents for a copy of the obituary. Lookups of obituaries were the month
and year aren't supplied will not be done.
The charge for other lookups will depend on the amount of information supplied.
